After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens - with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart - become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of an assassin who's out for blood.
La seconda stagione di Scream si apre con Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) di ritorno a Lakewood alcuni mesi dopo i drammatici avvenimenti che l'hanno sconvolta nei precedenti episodi (disponibili su ICV-CREW). Mentre tutti si chiedono se abbia superato davvero il trauma, Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) tiene nascosto il suo legame con l'assassino, ma continua a essere molestata da qualcuno che conosce la verità. Anche Brooke (Carlson Young) e Jake (Tom Maden) hanno un segreto, la loro nascente storia d'amore, della quale a non dover sapere è il sindaco Maddox. Noah (John Karna), invece, è sempre più vicino alla verità sugli omicidi della prima stagione. Ovviamente, trattandosi di Scream, non passa molto prima che il killer trascini nuovamente gli eroi di Lakewood in una tempesta di tradimenti e spargimenti di sangue.
