On his birthday, Thom Payne gets the gift of insignificance and also a new boss. Uno sguardo umoristico sulla ricerca della felicità, motivo spesso causa primaria di infelicità. Thom Payne è 44enne sconvolto dall'arrivo del suo nuovo boss, un venticinquenne che usa termini come "digital" "social" e "viral." Questa rivoluzione nella sua esistenza rimetterà in gioco tutti i suoi valori spingendolo a riflettere sul significato di felicità.

Nella prima puntata di Happyish troverete: due grandissimi attori, una presa per il culo geniale del culto di Steve Jobs, un elfo animato che si spara in testa con un fucile, una vecchia elfa animata che viene -ehm- posseduta da un uomo in carne e ossa, due genitori che dicono che il loro bambini di 5 anni è uno stronzo senza pari, un bellissimo dialogo sulla felicità, un’esaltazione di Al Qaida in quanto brand vincente, dialoghi in cui ogni fucking confina con un bullshit.
