Legends racconta la storia di Martin Odum, ex agente della CIA, che ha lasciato l'Agenzia per dedicarsi al settore privato. Le sue continue trasformazioni mettono in difficoltà la sua vera identità e la vita privata di coloro che lui ama.

Sean Bean è pronto a tornare nei panni di Martin Odum, l'agente FBI esperto nelle missioni sotto copertura, essendo in grado di interpretare un nuovo personaggio per ogni caso.

Queste sue continue trasformazioni saranno utili per incastare i killer più efferati ma potrebbero minare la sua psiche e mettere in pericolo i suoi famigliari.

Questa nuova stagione però viaggerà su due binari differenti: una storia verrà narrata ai giorni nostri mentre parallelamente ne vivremo una ambientata 15 anni prima, utile a ricostruire l'oscuro passato di Martin.
