Trama:Murphy is an American living in Paris who enters a highly sexually and emotionally charged relationship with the unstable Electra. Unaware of the effect it will have on their relationship, they invite their pretty neighbor into their bed.
La mattina del 1° gennaio suona un telefono. Murphy, un ragazzo di 25 anni, si sveglia circondato dalla giovane moglie e dal figlio di tre anni. Poi ascolta la segreteria telefonica e trova un messaggio della madre di Electra, che chiede della figlia che non vede da tempo e a cui teme sia accaduto qualcosa di grave. Nel corso di una lunga e grigia giornata, Murphy si ritrova solo nel suo appartamento e inizia a ricordare la sua più grande storia d'amore durata due anni con Electra: una passione amorosa fatta di promesse, giochi ed eccessi, bruscamente interrotta dopo aver tentato una relazione a tre.
