Il guardiamarina Johnny Firpo viene incaricato dai suoi superiori di indagare su una banda di allibratori clandestini operanti in Florida. Poiché egli ignora quasi tutto del gioco - che si tratti di poker o di corse di pelota o di roulette - dovrà essere affiancato da qualcuno che, invece, ne abbia una competenza da maestro. L'uomo c'è ed è un robusto camionista, Charlie, che però ha giurato a se stesso di non fare più scommesse. Giocando d'astuzia, rivelandogli, al momento opportuno, di essere suo fratello da parte del padre e intromettendo nella faccenda anche il loro comune genitore, Johnny ottiene la collaborazione di Charlie. Insieme, dopo avere agganciato la banda, i due fratelli piombano sullo "yacht" del "boss" che la comanda e che verrà finalmente assicurato alla giustizia.
Guardian Johnny Firpo is instructed by his superiors to investigate on a clandestine flirtatious banner in Florida. Because he ignores most of the game - whether it's poker or peloton or roulette races - he must be flanked by someone who has a master skill. Man is there and he is a sturdy truck driver, Charlie, who has sworn to himself that he does not bother. Playing cunning, revealing him at the right time to be his brother by the father and intruding into the affair also their common parent, Johnny gets Charlie's collaboration. Together, after joining the band, the two brothers plummet on the "yacht" of the "boss" who commands it and is finally assured of justice.
