Enrico Moroni, scrittore di commedie teatrali, dopo l'ennesimo fiasco, riceve la visita dell'Ufficiale Giudiziario Pierluigi che, come già altre volte, gli ripulisce la casa. I guai di Enrico, più che da incapacità, nascono dal fatto che, tramite l'avv. Roberto Manetta, una società finanzia le fallimentari commedie per coprire le somme dovute al fisco e; inoltre, lo costringe a servirsi di Solange; attrice mediocre oltre che convivente dello scrittore. Un giorno, inviata da un'agenzia, si presenta come "colf" la negretta Tesoro Hoaua, proveniente da una piccola isola dell'Oceano Indiano. La ragazza di colore, carica di diamanti che suo padre raccoglie in abbondanza sulle montagne, innamoratasi di Enrico, paga tutti i suoi debiti; rimette la villa in condizioni ottimali e, preso il posto di Solange che si è trasferita dall'amante Roberto, trascina Enrico nei suoi entusiasmi per la natura sino a indurlo alla composizione di una nuova commedia. I finanziatori, sicuri di poter usufruire di un altro clamoroso fiasco, mettono in scena la nuova opera che, però, ottiene un clamoroso successo. Enrico, finalmente deciso a sposare Tesoro, viene a sapere che è già all'aeroporto. Ma, per sua fortuna, i finanzieri l'hanno fermata per l'incredibile quantità di diamanti di cui l'hanno trovata in possesso; ed Enrico, testimoniando per lei, può finalmente sposarla.
Enrico Moroni, a theatrical comedian writer, after a recent fiasco, receives a visit from the Pierluigi Judicial Officer, who, as usual, cleanses the house. Henry's troubles, rather than inability, arise from the fact that, through the lawyer, Roberto Manetta, a company finances bankruptcy comedies to cover the sums due to the tax authorities; furthermore, he forces him to use Solange; mediocre actress as well as the writer's living quarters. One day, sent by an agency, the "Treasurer" Treasury Hoaua comes from a small island of the Indian Ocean. The colored girl, loaded with diamonds that her father collects abundantly in the mountains, falls in love with Enrico, pays all her debts; puts the villa in the best condition and, taking Solange's place, who has moved from his lover Roberto, drags Enrico into his enthusiasm for nature to make it a new comedy. Lenders, sure to be able to take advantage of another fiery fiasco, stage the new work that, however, gets a thrilling success. Henry, finally decided to marry Treasure, comes to know that he is already at the airport. But, fortunately, the financiers stopped him for the incredible amount of diamonds he owned; and Henry, witnessing for her, can finally marry her.
