Tirando le somme "Peachtree Road" è forse il "miglior" album in assoluto tra i meno riusciti di Elton John.
Sarebbe dovuto essere il logico seguito di "Songs From The West Coast" ma che per varietà stilistica, ispirazione e alchimia tra i singoli brani l'album del 2001 non lo vede neanche col binocolo.
"Weight Of The World" e "Porch Swing In Tupelo" restano comunque due grandissime canzoni, insieme alla bella copertina sono l'unico motivo per ricordare un album altrimenti del tutto trascurabile
