Tutti sappiamo che Eric Clapton sia uno dei maggiori chitarristi di tutti i tempi.
Quello che in molti non sanno è cheè stato collaboratore di artisti come il leggendario del blues Pinetop Perkins,
o il chitarrista jamaicano Arthur Louis ou il trombonista Chris Barber (una vera istituzione della musica inglese).
Inoltre in pochi sicuramente avranno già sentito le versioni delle sue musiche suonate e cantate Koko Taylor e Ann Peebles.
Sono anche certo che quasi nessuno, se non pochi, abbiano avuto il piacere di ascoltare ciò che influenzò Clapton all'inizio della sua carriera.
