Fleming- Essere James Bond e' una miniserie in quattro puntate dedicata alla figura di Ian Fleming (impersonato da Dominic Cooper, gia' star di Captain America, Un ragionevole dubbio e numerosi altri film), creatore della saga di 007.
Il protagonista e' un giovane ed edonista agente di cambio, la cui carriera si rivela fallimentare; costretto dalla madre ad entrare in Marina, viene arruolato dalla CIA nel controspionaggio e presto si segnala per brillanti operazioni contro i nazisti durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
In breve tempo gli vengono affidati incarichi delicatissimi da cui dipendono non soltanto le sorti dell'Inghilterra, ma addirittura del Pianeta.
Questa esperienza costituira' unimportante fonte di ispirazione per la creazione del personaggio di James Bond e le sue avventure.
La serie e' stata co-prodotta da BBC America e Sky Atlantic UK.
